Motorsport UK

Motorsport UK, is the national governing body for all four wheeled motorsport, overseeing venue permits, competitor licences, and the sport’s rules and safety. To broaden engagement and participation, it launched Race for Diversity, supported by Mission 44, to create pathways into motorsport for young people from underserved backgrounds through STEM.

A key element is delivering STEM Sport Days at TeamSport providing hands on experiences featuring pit stop challenges, karting, strategy simulations and coding activities. Aimed mainly at Year 9 students, these days support GCSE choices and encourage interest in STEM subjects that can lead to future careers across the motorsport industry.
