Tomorrow's Engineers Week 2025

An annual celebration to inspire young people with the breadth of engineering and technology careers. Encourage students to become robust problem solvers who are unafraid of trying things out!

Tomorrow's Engineers Week 2025

Now a firm fixture in many school calendars, Tomorrow’s Engineers Week is back for its 13th year - shining a spotlight on the world of engineering and technology, and the exciting careers it offers young people.

This year’s theme, Dare to Discover, encourages students aged 11–14 to embrace the idea that getting things wrong is part of the journey. Whether it’s an experiment that doesn’t go to plan or a project that takes an unexpected turn, this week is all about showing that trial and error is at the heart of engineering and innovation.

Throughout the week, students will:

  • Explore real-life stories from engineers and technicians whose career paths didn’t follow the usual route
  • Discover the surprising origins of everyday inventions
  • Put their questions to a panel of industry experts
  • Take part in lessons and activities designed to build resilience and problem-solving skills

The week kicks off with a ready-to-go assembly and is supported by a full suite of free classroom resources to help you bring the theme to life.

Let’s help students see that mistakes aren’t failures - they’re opportunities to learn, grow, and innovate.

Register now to access all the resources and get your school involved.
