Cornwall's Future of Flight Festival returns, landing at Cornwall Airport Newquay on 20-21 June.
The TECgirls Reach for the Sky Festival is a high-energy, family-friendly aviation, aerospace and engineering experience designed to inspire the next generation. Built around the idea of Discover, Explore, Ignite, the festival gives participants a chance to step into the world of flight and see what’s possible for their future.
Expect a packed day of hands-on exploration, including real aircraft displays, VR experiences, flight simulators, and over 20 interactive stands and workshops led by engineers, apprentices, and industry partners. Climb inside aircraft, explore rockets, try engineering challenges, and discover the science and technology that keeps things flying.
A key part of the event is meeting inspiring role models, including female engineers, pilots, and aviation professionals, who share their stories, answer questions, and help young people imagine their own future pathways in aviation, aerospace, engineering, and tech.
The festival is fully inclusive and designed to be accessible for all learners, creating a welcoming space where curiosity is encouraged and everyone can get involved, explore, and have fun while learning about real-world careers.
