Project

STEM On Track

A year-long programme empowering teams to build a racing kart, learn the associated STEM theory and race against competing schools.

STEM On Track

An immersive educational initiative which transforms traditional learning, fostering practical skills and a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Embark on a thrilling STEM journey with STEM On Track, where students Build, Learn, and Race!

  • Build: The programme runs in-line with the academic year and includes shipping kart kits directly to schools, allowing students to engage in a hands-on learning experience week by week as they construct their own karts, fostering real-world skills along the way.
  • Learn: The online platform offers a step-by-step interactive guide to kart construction, 50+ STEM courses that relate to the build and align to the national curriculum. With supporting webinars to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for students.
  • Race: The STEM Prix serves as the project's grand finale in Northamptonshire, offering schools the opportunity to showcase their efforts and racing skills in a final event that celebrates their journey through STEM education and kart building.

Alongside these 3 core components students have the opportunity to discover career opportunities in STEM fields, and engage with other schools.

Cost

The cost for the Kart (easily dismantled and reusable year on year) is £3,150 and the price for the Learning Management System and courses is £2,950.

However you will receive significant help from the provider in securing sponsorship, potentially making the programme free and ensuring sustainability year-on year.

Book a free 30 minute consultation with the provider to discuss how they can tailor the programme specifically to your school and provide further detail on the intricacies of the STEM On Track project.
