STEAM Goals

An immersive STEAM careers experience connecting girls and non-binary students with diverse role models, real workplaces, and inspiring pathways.

STEAM Goals

Give your students an inspiring introduction to the world of STEAM through Stemettes' immersive STEAM Goals school trips.

Exclusively for girls, young women, and non-binary students aged 11-16. These are free, fun, food-filled events.

Designed to bring careers education to life, these experiences connect students with real professionals working across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths. Through interactive sessions, talks, and activities, students gain a deeper understanding of how their learning links to future career pathways.

A central part of the experience is direct engagement with diverse role models. Volunteers from a range of STEAM industries share their journeys, insights, and advice, helping to challenge stereotypes and broaden students’ aspirations.

Where possible, trips take place in workplace environments, giving students valuable exposure to professional settings and supporting Gatsby Benchmarks 4, 5, and 6. This helps students build confidence and familiarity with the world of work.

The programme is designed to be accessible, engaging, and suitable for a wide range of students. Activities cater to different learning styles and require no prior knowledge, ensuring all participants can take part meaningfully.

After the experience, students are encouraged to continue their STEAM journey through additional resources, our online student community, and follow-on opportunities, helping to sustain interest and support informed decision-making about their futures.
