Project
Propel your students straight into the world of Aerospace through gameplay, introducing them to roles and skills required in engineering.
Enginuity brings you 4 games built in Minecraft to propel your students straight into the world of Aerospace.
Learn what materials are used to construct an aircraft and their properties.
Can your students fix the plane after a power outage? We need them to fix the code in the flight deck, turn on the emergency lighting and programme the landing gear. Now the plane is built and working, it's going to need some fuel. Students will have the option to create a lithium battery, fuel a hydrogen fuel cell, or make sustainable aviation fuel.
When they've learned all of this, and have an excellent overview of many of the careers and pathways available to them through STEM subjects, they'll be able to create a 3 dimensional plane of their own.
Promoting STEM, the available resources harness young people’s love of gaming and are designed for use during lessons, enrichment, or in after school clubs.
How does it work?
The Enginuity website explains each step in detail, including where to find the game file (you'll need to download the Minecraft Education Edition first), Teacher Notes and Worksheets. They also have video tutorials to get everyone up to speed before playing each game.
