Safer Internet Day: Tech for Cyber Security

A free virtual live lesson for students aged 11 to 14 years old on 11 February discussing the importance of cyber security and what careers are available.

Safer Internet Day: Tech for Cyber Security

In today's digital world, it's important that children learn to navigate the online world safely and responsibly.

Join Tech She Can on Safer Internet Day, Tuesday 11 February at 2:00pm, for a fun, engaging and age appropriate virtual Tech We Can LIVE lesson focused on cyber security.

Tech She Can Teacher, Zoe, will deliver a 45 minute interactive session where students will be guided to complete paper based tasks and partner discussions - they therefore need to be based at a table with a piece of paper and pen/pencil.

Zoe will also highlight the many exciting future careers available in cyber security and the amazing people working behind the scenes to keep us all safe.

The content is being delivered to help celebrate Safer Internet Day 2025 with celebrations and learning based around the theme ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online‘.

This resource is suitable for a lesson in the classroom environment or from home.
