Project Earth empowers and showcases young innovators keen to tackle climate challenges with expert support and real-world impact.
Project Earth is a free initiative which support students in developing innovative STEM-based solutions to real-world climate and biodiversity challenges - with expert guidance and the chance to showcase their work on a national stage.
If you lead a STEM club, run enrichment activities, or teach students passionate about sustainability, Project Earth offers a unique opportunity to connect curriculum learning with impactful, hands-on innovation.
Students can submit ideas from any context - whether it's a school project, a club initiative, or a scheme from another organisation - and receive tailored support to develop their concepts. With access to over 90 expert advisors, including climate scientists, engineers, technologists, and sustainability professionals, students are mentored through the process of refining and realising their ideas.
Selected students will be invited to present their projects at Pitch for the Planet, a national showcase held at the Royal Institution in London on 26 June 2026. Here, they’ll pitch their ideas to a panel of experts and industry leaders, gaining exposure and feedback from professionals working at the forefront of climate innovation.
