Moon Landing Coding Adventure

Free, teacher-led and space-themed coding adventure for 5-8 year-olds.

Moon Landing Coding Adventure

This fun Moon Landing Coding Adventure by Get with the Program will get 5-8 year-old students learning practical coding skills and creating algorithms to land a robot on the moon – while you cover the computing curriculum – for free!

Teachers are empowered to run this series of activities themselves as all resources are provided and support is available.

This package includes:

  • An exciting streamed video assembly (30 mins)
  • Engaging follow-on activities (45 mins each)
  • A variety of practical teaching support resources

Teachers, this will help you to cover computing curriculum key terms while easily integrating STEM into your lessons and contributing to your Ofsted goals. The ready-to-use resources will save you time and enable you to explore exciting jobs in aerospace with your students.

This opportunity is free until the end of March 2026, thanks to the generous support of the Department for Transport and the UK Civil Aviation Authority. Bursaries will be available after that date.
