Girls into Electronics

15 events at universities in England and Scotland, supported by Apple, to inspire future female Electronics Engineers!

Girls into Electronics

The UK Electronics Skills Foundation is delighted to be hosting 15 Girls into Electronics events at partner universities around England and Scotland this year, in partnership with Apple.

The day will include:

- Talks from women who are working in the Electronics industry
- Attending a sample lecture, a department tour and meet current students
- Getting hands-on with Electronics activities, including an Arduino microcontroller workshop
- Hearing about rewarding careers in the Electronics industry

As well as participating in hands-on Electronics activities, attending sample lectures and campus tours, students will hear directly from engineers working at Apple as they share a unique insight into what it's like to work at one of the most admired tech companies in the world.

Students who participate in the events are also invited to apply to join Apple's Mentorship Programme, which includes a one-off event at Apple's offices in London, as well as interactive mentoring sessions and insightful talks.
