Workshop
Empower your students to explore innovative solutions to climate change and develop skills with the Climate Schools Programme.
The climate crisis is one of our biggest challenges and engineers are key to tackling it. The Climate Schools Programme gives you the resources, knowledge and confidence to address this issue with your students. It helps stimulate debate and interest and communicate a solutions-focused message. The programme is designed to make the links between curriculum subjects and real world careers.
Developed in collaboration with industry experts, it covers valuable facts and stats and showcases lots of role models who work in green jobs to inspire your students.
The curriculum-linked resources span English, science, and geography, giving you everything you need to deliver impactful lessons. Get lesson plans, activity plans, case studies, curriculum alignments, and more. Students develop essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and communication – all vital for their future careers.
Plus, it’s flexible. Your school can choose to do 1 or 2 lessons, or use the resources and activities with students across all subjects. We also offer Climate Action theme packs to support existing extra-curricular clubs or to help you set up a new Climate Action Club.
The Climate Schools Programme is free and aimed at 11 to 14 year-olds in state-funded secondary schools in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
