Uncover the power of curiosity with Spark2's brand-new workshop, created especially for British Science Week 2026. This engaging, hands-on session for primary school students celebrates questioning as the heart of scientific discovery.

Through immersive experiments and interactive activities, pupils are encouraged to ask bold questions, test their ideas, and explore how curiosity drives innovation in both nature and technology. From everyday wonders to big “what if?” challenges, students discover how the simple act of asking a question can lead to powerful answers about the world around us. Topics such as states of matter, electricity, pressure, chemical reactions, and materials are explored in a way that is both curriculum-linked and unforgettable. By the end, every child leaves inspired to keep questioning, keep exploring, and keep their curiosity alive.

The session also highlights the importance of curiosity in real-world careers. From scientists and engineers to inventors and innovators, pupils will see how today’s jobs depend on the same spark of wonder they bring to the classroom.

The workshop is designed to be inclusive and SEN-friendly, with content and delivery adapted to suit the needs of each school. All resources are provided.

Cost

£749 per day. A day can include an assembly, workshops and even a live show - enquire with the provider to tailor your experience to the needs of your school.

Capacity 

Up to 30 students per workshop.
