Bring artificial intelligence to life in your classroom with this engaging, hands-on workshop for Key Stage 3 students. Through interactive challenges, creative problem-solving and practical activities, students discover how data, algorithms and machine learning shape the technology they encounter every day. As they explore how intelligent systems work, they'll develop curiosity, computational thinking and a deeper understanding of the digital world.

Alongside investigating the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence, students explore important topics such as ethical decision-making, bias and responsibility. The workshop helps learners think critically about the role of AI in society while building confidence in the knowledge and skills that underpin emerging technologies.

Linked to real-world careers, the session introduces students to the growing range of opportunities in AI, technology and digital innovation. By highlighting the people behind these technologies and the pathways available, the workshop helps learners connect classroom learning with future study and career options.

Delivered in school by an experienced facilitator, AI Explorer is adaptable for mixed-ability groups and SEND provision. Activities are differentiated to ensure every student can participate, contribute and succeed, providing an inspiring and accessible introduction to one of the most important technologies shaping our future.
